Victoria + Haythem | an Orchard View Ottawa Wedding
International Weddings , September 24, 2011
Victoria and Haythem’s wedding was the first wedding where I wasn’t approached by either the bride or the groom. It was the bride’s sister that found me and I’m glad she did! Victoria wasn’t too keen on typical portraits, she just wanted someone there to capture the party she and Haythem were about to throw. That was fine by me. I love being the fly on the wall that observes and catches the moments that occur throughout the day.

Haythem said the photo session was what scared him the most about the day, but afterward I was pleased to hear he felt it was nothing like he expected. He even had a good time. There is nothing intimidating about my camera and I ๐
Victoria and Haythem come from two different cultures (I love it when cultures come together!). Victoria has a huge family, all of which love to say a few words and embarrass the bride. Haythem’s family speak through action … and one action they love … is dancing.
