A Surprise Sunrise Proposal on Mount Royal

I wanted to start 2016 in a high note and there was no better way to do it than with a surprise proposal. John was traveling in from Cali with his girlfriend and wanted to surprise her up on Mont Royal’s lookout. They love to watch sunrises, so they set out early one winter morning. I made the early climb up the mountain that morning. It was the day after a big snowfall so I felt like I was trekking through the great white north. But it was more than worth it. The combination of snow and the golden sun was beautiful.
