Engaged! :: Sandra + David

When I first met with Sandra and David, it was like meeting old friends. We immediately got into talking about everything not related to their wedding, food (David’s dad cooks in Montreal), grad school (Sandra is at Ryerson), NBA playoffs (David picked a Thunder/Bulls final, I wanted a Mavs/Celtics finals),  music (David was known to DJ back in the day), and the Toronto versus Montreal debate.

I grew up in Toronto, met my wife in UofT, and moved to Montreal for my grad studies while my wife entered the business world. David grew up in Montreal, met Sandra at McGill, then moved to Toronto as Sandra entered grad school while David was in the business world. Crazy! S+D must be the first Montrealers I’ve met that fell in love with Toronto, while my wife and I are Torontonians currently enjoying our time in Montreal. Both great cities filled with great people.

I met up with the two at their condo then headed to Toronto Harbourfront. Living so close to it, they often take walks along the water surrounded by a lively atmosphere, so the location had some meaning to them which is something I always encourage when choosing a location. They were scared of the forecast of rain, but it never came and we got some great shots even with the overcast skies.

The two dressed for the occasion, looking so fresh and so clean. I absolutely love these two! Can’t wait for their party in November, it’s going to be a blast!
