Annah + Frank | Married!
International Weddings , October 3, 2011
Annah and Frank had a very unique intimate wedding, one like I’ve never seen before. It was wonderful! Let me tell you all about it.
They started at the fantastic LHotel in Old Montreal. They were a little thrown off when they noticed an American action movie filming outside the hotel. There was a staged bank robbery and S.W.A.T. teams everywhere. Unfortunately, I didn’t see anyone famous, but I did see a pretty boy actor in a police vest walking out of the back of the SWAT van holding his gun and walkie-talkie. They filmed him doing this about 10 times. Apparently, he isn’t very good at walking out of the back of a van, haha. Annah and Frank didn’t let the movie filming bother them because they knew what was important: family and friends and the party they had ahead of them.
Most people walked from the hotel to the ceremonial site, while some went by horse-drawn carriage. They gathered for an informal outdoor ceremony in Place d’Youville next to the Montreal Old Port. Since the majority of guests were from out of town, a tour of Montreal on a double decker bus followed the ceremony. The tour ended at the restaurant, Les Heritiers, where the rest of the evening would take place.
Les Heritiers is a fantastic restaurant with outstanding food. I’ve never had better food at a wedding. Guests actually got to choose from a predesigned menu instead of everyone having the same thing. I had the scallop ceviche and rib eye steak … mmmmmmmm … I’ll be coming back soon.
Enjoy some of my favourite photos from the day!
Wonderful pictures. I am glad everyone had such a good time and very happy for you both.
