Stephanie + Jacob | Don’t Stop The Party

Toronto Weddings , July 14, 2011

A big wedding deserves a big post! I thought Stephanie and Jacob’s Henna night was a huge party, but it couldn’t even compare to the wedding day. It started with food, then a whole lot of dancing, more food, some dancing, food, dancing, more dancing, food again, dancing … I think you get the idea. It was a party to remember.

Stephanie was cool as a cucumber all morning. Actually she was more than cool, she was on a natural “high” with boundless energy and a smile that wouldn’t go away.

Me – “Hey Steph, you’re getting married.”
Steph – “I’m getting MARRIED!!!!!”

Before the ceremony we headed to G. Ross Lord park for a few creatives. I lived walking distance to G.Ross for over 20 years of my life and never really spent much time there. It’s a great place for a picnic! I could tell Jacob was hesitant to trek through the park, but I was glad when he said it was completely worth it. I knew you’d like it, J!

I think the late night dancing is becoming my favourite part of the night to shoot. With a good DJ playing the right songs people start to get a little crazy and let loose. It’s raw emotions at it’s greatest. I can’t help but move to the music at the same time. It takes a lot of control to keep myself from joining in ;P

It was definitely the biggest wedding I’ve been blessed to document so I was glad that Joee and Kevin decided to tag along as my superstar team. Thanks a ton guys!

Steph and Jay, I wish you the best in the years to come! Mazel tov!
