Couple Session :: Caitlin + Cody

Lifestyle , February 13, 2013

If you are like my wife and I, you probably don’t have too many photos of just the two of you (before or after marriage). Sure we bring our camera everywhere and take photos of each other, but it’s more difficult to get someone else to take a photo of the both of us together … well, aside from the “hold the camera with one outstretched arm” shot, which always ends up looking the same, haha. Often we find ourselves wishing we had more photos of just us, but why pay for a pro to take photos of us when we aren’t getting married?! …. actually, why NOT!

This is the first time I did a photoshoot with a couple that were not engaged. Caitlin & Cody wanted some photos as a gift for their parents (what a fabulous idea!). It probably helped that Cody is in the army so they don’t get to see each other too often. But whichever reason you have, you don’t have to be getting married to have a couples photo session.

You know when would be a good time to get a couples photo session? Around Valentine’s Day … wink wink ๐Ÿ˜‰
