Engaged! :: Hayley + Matthew

First engagement shoot of the year turned out fabulous! Earlier this month I got to spend some time with Hayley and Matt for their e-shoot in Toronto. We were unsure where to go and made a very last minute decision to check out the Distillery District. The location was perfect for these two. H+M have a shared love for the 60’s, especially the Beatles, and their personalities just exude vintage. The rustic backdrop of the Distillery District was exactly what they were looking for.

Look at these two! Don’t they look like such naturals?!?! Well … they weren’t, haha. Matt has a tough time with photos and there is nothing wrong with that, in fact, I get that more often than not, but I love it! It feels great to show that you don’t have to be professional models to have some great photos. They felt a little awkward at first, but slowly warmed up to getting their photos taken and eventually started to forget about the camera. Look at those smiles, stunning!

I can’t wait for their Blue Mountain wedding this year, it’s going to be gorgeous!
