Nathalie + Dennis :: A Fall McGill Campus Engagement Session

Engaged , November 19, 2014

Fall is one of the greatest times to do a photosession. The colours are wonderful, however they don’t last long. Last month the colours were out and I was itching to take some photos, so I contacted Nathalie and Dennis (who are getting married next year) to get together for an engagement shoot. We headed to McGill campus where both of them attended. It’s a great location because it has the perfect mixture of nature and architecture.

I love engagement sessions because it gives me a chance to try something new and different. With an engineering background I am always fascinated by the technical aspects of photography. The relaxed pace of a casual photo shoot allows me to take some risks and attempt some photo tricks. The results are not always obvious to the average eye, but maybe you’ll notice something unique in a few of the photos below.
