Lorger and Imee | A Spectacle of Art

With their wedding only a couple of weeks away, I went out with Lorger and Imee for a casual engagement session. We headed to the Quartier des Spectacles near Place des Arts, a spot I’ve been wanting to shoot at for a while. It’s arguably the cultural center of Montreal where most festivals take place, including the Just for Laughs festival that just passed. L+I plan to have their wedding in a more “nature” atmosphere in Laval. So to mix things up, the architecture around Place des Arts provided a great backdrop for their engagement shoot. Here are a few of my favourites.

This is what I love most about engagement shoots, the laughter that comes from being uncomfortable in front of the camera. It’s perfect.
